CARA's Running Lite
Fall 2009 Schedule
The Running Lite Program meets at the same time as the Beginning to Run, 5K and 10K training groups. Each week all runners are invited to participate in an informational session prior to the group training run. Running Lite will meet five of the ten weeks (at the same time as the general info session). One additional nutrition session is provided for the entire beginning to run group. Running Lite participants run every week with the entire beginning to run group. Online support for Running Lite participants will be provided all ten weeks of the training program.

*September 16: Program Kickoff or Running Lite
*September 23: Proper Footwear (Running Away Multisport) or Running Lite
*Sept. 30: Choosing the Correct Apparel (Lululemon) or Running Lite
October 7: Proper Stretching (NovaCare); No Running Lite Meeting
October 14: Core Strength (Lululemon); No Running Lite Meeting
*October 21: Nutrition for Runners (includes Running Lite)
October 28: Yoga for Runners (Lululemon); No Running Lite Meeting
*November 4: Runner Safety or Running Lite
*November 11: Last Long Group Run; Last Running Lite Meeting
November 18: What’s Next? No Running Lite Meeting
November 21 – 29 – Turkey Trot’s
