Fruit and Energy Nutrition Bar Recipe
Have you ever wondered how your favorite nutrition bar is made? With this recipe, you can now make a nutrition bar yourself! These bars have a similar taste to the Kashi fruit and nut variety, and they are packed with good nutrition. Make them on the weekend and snack on them during the week; they won't last long!
Ingredients: ½ cup walnut pieces ½ cup slivered almonds ¼ cup toasted sesame seeds ½ cup roasted sunflower seeds ½ cup seven-grain cereal (such as Kashi 7 whole grain Puffs) ½ cup cashews ½ cup raisins ½ cup dried cranberries ½ cup shredded coconut 3 tablespoons brown sugar 1 cup quick oats (dry) 1 tablespoon cinnamon ¾ cup molasses
Instructions:
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Add molasses and stir until combined. Press mixture firmly into a sprayed 9 x 16” cookie sheet. Bake at 275 degrees for 35 minutes. Allow to cool. Cut into bars.
